Admission Undergraduate Overview

The following diagram summarizes the various degree paths you may take through the department of EEE.

Bachelor of Engineering Degree (BEng)

The department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering offers four bachelor degree programmes, namely:

• BEng in Computer Engineering (CE)
• BEng in Electronic and Communications Engineering (EComE)
• BEng in Electrical Engineering (EE)
• BEng in Information Engineering (InfoE)

Admission to our undergraduate degree programmes is achieved through two main channels. Students with Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE) results usually apply to the programmes through the JUPAS admission scheme. Students with other qualifications, as well as overseas and Mainland students may also be admitted through our various Non-JUPAS schemes.

Minor and Double-Degree BEng/BBA

Beyond the degree in Bachelor of Engineering, students may opt for an optional Minor in Business, Economics or Finance taken concurrently with their BEng degrees. Furthermore, advanced students may also choose to pursuit a 4-year Double Degree in BEng/BBA.
