Entrance Scholarships in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

The scholarships shall be awarded to the students admitted to the BEng degree programmes of the Department on the basic of academic merit. Each student admitted who, as judged by the Selection Committee, has excellent academic performance shall each be awarded a scholarship of the value equivalent to the tuition fees for the first year of the programme in a given academic year.

The scholarship money will not be paid directly to the awardees, but shall be used to cover their tuition fees. The scholarships may be held concurrently with other awards administered by the University subject to the overall maximum value stipulated by the Senate.

Entrance Scholarships for JUPAS Applicants

The scholarships shall be awarded to the first-year students admitted to the BEng degree programmes of the Department via JUPAS on the basis of academic merit, or other candidates that demonstrate exceptional outstanding academic excellence. The value of the scholarships shall be around HK$10,000 and may be held concurrently with other awards subject to the overall maximum value stipulated by the Senate.
