Yu-Ngok Li received his BEng(EEE) degree from The University of Hong Kong in 2000 and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 2002. He is currently working for Marvell Semiconductor in Santa Clara, California as a Staff Communication Research Manager. His research focuses on physical layer system algorithms and network optimization in the cellular communication area. He is currently working on system level simulation development and IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) generation regarding the RAN1 (Radio Access Network Layer 1) aspect of 3GPP (The 3rd Generation Partnership Project) LTE(Long Term Evolution)-Advanced Standard. Before that, he worked for Qualcomm Inc as a DSP engineer in projects including WCDMA/HSPA and GSM/EDGE modem chipset development.
