Power System analysis, operation and control.
Dr. Shen received his B.Sc. (Eng.) and M.Sc.(Eng.) degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hong Kong in 1963 and 1965 respectively and his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Queen Mary College, University of London in 1969. Since then he has joined the University of Hong Kong as a lecturer, later retitled associate professor.. He is the vice chairman of the Specialised Section in Power, IET Hong Kong Centre for the session 1998-99 and is in the Organising Committee of the international conference "Advances in Power Systems Control, Operation and Management" (APSCOM) held biennially in Hong Kong since 1991. |
