| Biography & Research Interests |
Dr. Ng is currently working as Senior Consultant at Hong Kong Productivity Council, where he helps organizations enhance awareness and improve performance through new media solutions.
Dr. Ng has been focusing on information technology and new business development throughout his career. He started off as an analyst at Accenture where he implemented e-business solutions for clients such as Lucent Technologies. He later joined Roctec Technology as Business Development Manager, Greater China, and set up a new business unit on cross-border enterprise solutions serving clients such as Esprit and Fairwood in over 20 cities in the Greater China region. Subsequently, he worked as Business Development Manager at E-Business Solutions, a subsidiary of the University of Hong Kong to facilitate the commercialization of e-business technologies. He established and managed a new business on mobile enterprise solutions serving clients such as AIA, G2000 and Union Hospital.
Dr. Ng received his B.Eng. degree with First Class Honours from the University of Hong Kong and M.Sc. degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He was awarded the British Chevening Scholarship and received his MBA degree from the University of Oxford. Then he received his Ph.D. degree from Sun Yat-sen University.
