Postgraduate Research Degree

[2011-2012]

The vision of the Department is to become one of the leading EEE departments in the Asia-Pacific region. Our strategy is to develop areas of strategic importance within electrical and electronic engineering and to establish critical mass for areas with identified growth potential. Research in the Department is grouped under the following seven areas:

(i) Computer Systems and Networking,
(ii) Microelectronics, Optoelectronics and VLSI,
(iii) Telecommunications,
(iv) Electrical Energy Technologies and Systems,
(v) Biomedical Engineering,
(vi) Information Systems, and
(vii) Electromagnetics and Optics.

Details of research activities within these groupings can be viewed here.
