ELEC 6079/8602: Biomedical Ultrasound
Winter 2013 Term

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

If you are a MedE undergraduate student, please enroll in ELEC 6079. This course would count as a final-year elective in the Medical Imaging track. You will enjoy learning about the fascinating world of biomedical ultrasound and its broad applicability in medicine and biology.

If you are an MSc student, please also enroll in ELEC 6079. This course would be suitable for you even if you have no background in biomedical engineering. The only prerequisite is that you have an interest in learning about the keyword "ultrasound" and how it has been used in medicine and biology. In fact, we had past cases where MSc students in our course switched into a biomedical engineering career after taking our course.

If you are an RPG (MPhil or PhD) student, please enroll in ELEC 8602. There will be a research component that is designed for you. This means, in addition to learning about biomedical ultrasound, you will also have a chance to find out more about this topic on your own.
