ELEC3505: Image and Video Processing. I re-designed this course
in 2005–06 from its early version, Image and Speech Processing, and have taught it till 2008–09. This course
introduces the fundamentals of image processing with some selected topics in video processing to
senior undergraduates.
ELEC8601: Advanced Topics in Image Processing. I developed this
graduate course in 2006–07. It covers topics of recent interest in the field.
This course is offered once every two years.
YPSY0004: Christianity and Society. This is a general education course
(called “Broadening” in the University of Hong Kong) that
gives students a fundamental knowledge of how Christianity is related to the social sciences,
natural sciences, and the arts in the society that we have inherited today, and
develops students’ critical thinking and understanding of diversities and views other than their own.
I have been involved in this course from 2003–04 until 2008–09, when the
university started to phase out all the “Broadening” courses.
