Course Objectives

Upon completing this course, the student should be able to:

• Understand the science of Fourier transforms (i.e. the mathematics)

• Understand the technology of Fourier transforms (i.e. the applications)

Prerequisite

• Prior exposure to Fourier transforms at the level of ELEC2201.

Grading: (tentative)

• 15% weekly quizzes

• 25% homework, including a one-page Fourier transform application (Sep 23)

• 25% test #1 (Oct 14)

• 35% test #2 (Nov 25)
