Compare to other type of solar cell, organic solar cell, DSSC, e.t., perovskite solar cells (PSCs) exhibit an enormous potential for high carrier mobility and absorption over a wide range of light wavelengths. PSCs have attracted great attention on the rapid increase in power conversion efficiencies (PCEs), which have risen from 3.8% to over 20%. The stability is also the key issue that attracted humorous attention in recent years This rapid increase can be attributed to the unique electronic properties of perovskite, and intensive work on the new materials development and new film deposition techniques. In this report, I will talk about the key issues that effected the PSCs efficiency and stability, and proposed several new film deposition techniques improved the PSCs efficiency and stability.
Xie Fengxian received her PhD Degree in Department of Electrical and Electronic of Engineering from the University of Hong Kong in 2013, majored in organic solar cell. She then worked as post-doctoral fellow in the University of Hong Kong and study the subject of perovskite solar cells. Then she joined National Institute for Materials Science in Japan to work on high performance perovskite solar cells.
She is currently an associate professor of The School of Information Science and Technology (SIST), Fudan University. Dr. Xie has published over 40 internationally peer-reviewed journal papers, contributed a US and China patents. Among her publications, 5 first-author papers have been featured as ESI high citation such as Energy Environ. Sci.; Adv. Mater., and ACS nano, and 2 articles have been highlighted in research new/scholarly articles.
