Our ElecE final year student KAISTHA Tushar won the Bronze Award of the ASM Technology Award 2021.
Tushar’s project, titled “AI-Driven Dynamic Electronic Road Pricing to Reduce Air Pollution and Traffic Congestion” is co-supervised by Prof. Victor OK Li and Dr. Jacqueline CK Lam of the Department of EEE.
The ASM Technology Award is to recognize and reward students with outstanding Final Year Projects which demonstrate excellence in technology and innovation. This year, the competition was held on 30 June 2021 and opened to all Engineering graduating students from the universities in Hong Kong including HKU, HKUST, CUHK, PolyU, and CityU. Tushar’s excellent presentation made him winning the Bronze prize with a certificate of Merit and Scholarship.
