Selected as an International Scholar in the “Dare to be Digital 2006”

Congratulations to our postgraduate student Mr. Suen Tsz Yin (Simon) for receiving the “Dare to be Digital 2006” Scholarship. “Dare to be Digital” (http://www.daretobedigital.com/about/international.php) is a video games development competition for students at Universities and Colleges of Art in Scotland. Each team consists of five students with a mix of artists and programmers. All teams will assemble in Dundee for 10 weeks for receiving training from industry specialists to develop a prototype video game. An international scholar from India, China or Hong Kong will join each team. Each scholar, who is an extremely talented artist or programmer with good English language skills, receives 10 week funded placement, return flights to Scotland and free accommodation. Simon is the only scholar from Hong Kong.

Simon is our CE graduate (2003) and is currently our MPhil. student under the supervision of Dr. E. Lam and Dr. K. Y. Wong.
