ICT Award

A team of teachers and research students of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering won the Bronze ICT Award supported by the HKSAR Government – Best Lifestyle Award 2008. The ICT Award is one of the most prestigious awards in information and communication technology in Hong Kong. The winning project: “Mobile Learning Platform” received the Bronze Award in this ICT Award. The award was presented in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition on 9 February 2009 and was followed by a celebration dinner hosted by the HKSAR Financial Secretary Hon John Tsang. The winning project was evolved from the research output of a TD-SCDMA Award and later a Teaching Development Grant project. The winning project has also been deployed in the Inter-school Mobile Quiz Contest on Olympic knowledge held in 8 July 2008. Details of this contest can be referred to:
