Hong Kong Electronics Fair 2012

Three research projects from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering were exhibited in the Hong Kong Electronics Fair 2012 in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from Oct 13 to Oct 16, 2012. The Pervasive Positioning and Tracking Technology project is a collaborative project with the Hong Kong Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Enabling Technologies, while the Energy Management System is developed by the Multimedia Networking Lab. Both projects are led by Prof. Victor Li and Dr. Guanghua Yang is the project manager. Another project is the Interactive Mobile Class project called iClass developed by in the e-Learning Technology Development Laboratory led by Dr. Wilton Fok.

The Hong Kong Electronics Fair 2012 is the world’s biggest electronics event organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. It presented all kinds of electronics products and services such as audio-visual products, navigation systems, telecommunications products and testing, inspection & certification services.
