HKU team won in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2018 Competition

Our BEng(CE) year 3 students Desmond Chi Ping Wong & Felix Kwong Yat Wong, together with another teammate from BBA(Law), developed an Android mobile app entitled “Future Warriors” and won the Champion and also the Creative Idea Award in the Tertiary Sector of the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2018 Competition. “Future Warriors” is an android app that composed of 2 games which are designed to help students with Special Education Needs (SEN), especially those schoolchildren who are with dyslexia and autism.

This is the second award of Desmond and Felix’s team. They have already won the 2nd prize of the Apple’s China Mobile App Contest before with a different entry called “Luminosite” (URL : facilitating the street navigation of those visually impaired people.
