Newly Elevated IEEE Fellows

It is our great pleasure that Prof. Ricky Y.K. Kwok and Prof. Ed X. Wu have been elevated to IEEE Fellows, effective from January 2014, for contributions to “resource scheduling algorithms in parallel and distributed systems” and “in vivo magnetic resonance imaging methods” respectively.

The IEEE Grade of Fellow is conferred by the IEEE Board of Directors upon a person with an outstanding record of accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest. Each year, following a rigorous evaluation procedure, the IEEE Fellow Committee recommends a select group of recipients for one of the Association’s most prestigious honors, elevation to IEEE Fellow. Less than 0.1% of voting members are selected annually for this member grade elevation. IEEE Fellow is the highest grade of membership and is recognized by the technical community as a prestigious honor and an important career achievement.

Congratulations, Prof. Kwok & Prof. Wu!
