Newly Elevated IEEE Fellow

We are happy to announce that Prof. Edmund Y M Lam has been elevated to IEEE Fellow, effective from January 2015, for contributions to “modelling and computational algorithms in imaging applications”.

The IEEE Grade of Fellow is conferred by the IEEE Board of Directors upon a person with an outstanding record of accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest. Each year, following a rigorous evaluation procedure, the IEEE Fellow Committee recommends a select group of recipients for one of the Association’s most prestigious honors, elevation to IEEE Fellow. Less than 0.1% of voting members are selected annually for this member grade elevation. IEEE Fellow is the highest grade of membership and is recognised by the technical community as a prestigious honour and an important career achievement.

Many congratulations to Prof. Lam!
