Abstract:
Organic light-emitting devices (OLED) have received considerable attention due to their superb display image quality and demonstrated manufacturing and market potentials. In this presentation, Professor Chen will review the past and present development of key OLED material science and device technology from the vintage point of view of one of the co-inventors back in the Display Research Laboratory of Eastman Kodak Company. Future development trend in technology and opportunities for Hong Kong and Greater China will also be presented.
