Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2011

Three EEE students, Mr. CHAN Alexander Ho-young (InfoE-1), Miss LAU Hayley Man Hay (CE-1) and Mr. TAKWI W. Desmond (EComE-2) were awarded the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2011(WWDC2011) Student Scholarship. Each of them is awarded a free ticket to attend the WWDC 2011 conference in San Francisco this June 6-10, 2011.

The WWDC is the premier technical event for developers and IT professionals innovating with Apple platforms. These 5 days of conferences showcases the latest innovations and the newest technologies in iOS and Mac OS X, with over 1000 Apple engineers giving 5 full days of in-depth technical sessions and hands-on labs. This is a good opportunity for Mr. Chan, Miss Lau and Mr. Takwi to learn how to harness the power of the operating systems in the most efficient and sophisticated way.

The project supervisor of Miss Lau is Dr. Vincent Tam.

Congratulations to the award winners!
