Dr. L. Jiang’s RPG student Miss Ying Cao received two prestigious international awards of IEEE EMC society on July 28th, 2016 in Ottawa, Canada.
The first one, 2016 President’s Memorial Award Presented in Memory of Guy deBurgh and Bill Kimmel. It is presented to Ying for outstanding work relating radiation physics to the EMC of advanced circuits.
Second one, 2016 Best Student Symposium Paper Award First Place, for her paper titled “Top-layer Interconnect Inductive Extraction for the Pre-layout Power Integrity.”
Both awards are presented at the 2016 IEEE International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility in Ottawa, Canada on Jul 28th, 2016.
IEEE EMC Symposium is the biggest and most important international conference in the EMC field. Both awards are the best international awards a graduate student could receive from IEEE EMC Society. Extremely unusually, Dr. Jiang’s student Ying wins both in one symposium.
