Hong Kong local school students with Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) results should apply to the EEE programmes through the JUPAS admission scheme.
Students with other qualifications, as well as overseas and Mainland students may also be admitted through our various Non-JUPAS schemes.
Through the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS) (http://www.jupas.edu.hk), HKU admits secondary school students from local schools based on their local public examination results. Please check the JUPAS website for eligibility to apply, application procedures and information on the JUPAS scheme.

International students, students from the Mainland China, as well as qualified local students who did not take part in the main-round JUPAS admission scheme may apply to our programme through the University-wide non-JUPAS admission scheme. Our department admits many high quality local students both into our first year and second year studies through this route every year. Mainland Students (内地本科生)
If you are the Mainland students planning to study in our undergraduate degree programme, we encourage you to visit the University portal dedicated to admission of undergraduate students from the Mainland (内地本科生入学计划). We admit many high quality undergraduate students from the Mainland China every year. Upon graduation, many of them continue to pursue higher degrees at HKU or at overseas institutions.
